I know this trend of color color correcting has been picking up full speed.. and in all honestly I believe a lot of it is over hyped. I personally don’t see the need for sooooo many shades and colors.
But,one thing atleast I think we would all like to get rid of are dark circles. I like my undereyes to be bright and sometimes just the concealer alone does not do the job.
So, initially I was playing around the Urban Decay/Cover FX/Algenist color correctors all in the peach/orange family. But, none really wore well on me– due to the undertones, or the consistency and the undereye area would crease badly when I was laying so many products.
So, here comes the Becca Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector in Peach. This is an organe shade which works well with my skintone.. and the consistency is that of a gel. So it dries well and stays put well. This underneath the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Concealer has been really doing the job for me.
This product applies realy sheer so its buildable and it has a slight luminosity that shows through.
It retails for $30 for .16oz and you can find this at Sephora!

Let me know your thoughts on this!

I think colour correcting is important to a certain extent. If you don’t have that much discolouration or super red pimples on your skin it really isn’t necessary!! Personally I love this becca one that you talked about and I also use a Bobbi brown one; it has an orangey colour as well. Loved the post xox
Definitely it probably can make a whole lot of difference to some who needs it. But there are various ways of doing it.. like using a primer that might help all over– MakeupForever makes some awesome different colored ones, and even Smashbox I think.
Have not tried the Bobbi Brown one.. how is it? Worth the price?
