I have a new skincare discovery that really has changed things around for me!

Over the past year I have been hearing about classing balms all over the blog world and from beauty gurus. Unfortunately, cleansing balms have become really popular in the UK. But, Sephora carries one cleansing balm that has become extremely popular over the last couple of months.

I got a whole bunch of samples from Sephora before I bit the bullet and bought as it comes with a hefty price tag at $48 for a 5.1oz tub. I think it is totally worth it though. The UK has a lot of cleansing balms available for cheaper but, by the time you add shipping costs and tax it pretty much adds up to what you would pay here for the one by REN.

So what is a cleansing balm? It has a vaseline-y texture that you use on dry skin; it’s the first step to washing your face. You massage a little bit of this onto your skin and really massage it in so you remove all the dirt, grime, makeup, etc. Then you add water to emulsify it and to remove the residue. Afterwards, you remove the remaining residue off with a muslin cloth- and let me tell you it removes every inch of dirt you have. If you wear makeup though, I thoroughly recommend double cleansing even after using this.  The smell is amazing, and literally feels as though you are getting a facial done.

I would definitely repurchase this, as it has definitely changed the way my skin looks and feels- now it is more dewy and brighter, with less breakouts due to the thorough removal of dirt and makeup.
