Everyone has an item that they use a LOT. I bought this palette last December when it came out and have been using it NON STOP. I mean it’s that good.

This is the second so called “matte”palette that Tarte released with 3 shimmery shades. I had bought the first one and returned it, as I thought the shades were too cool for my taste. When the second one came out, I hesitated to buy it but I am glad I did. I found a love for matte shadows and the importance of them after buying this palette. The colors mostly lean warm. I like that the selection of colors is all rose gold esq colors. There are a few cool toned shades thrown in here but they are all ones you would definitely wear. And, can we talk about the packaging for a second? OBSESSED. The colors on the cover are so dreamy and bright.

The shimmer shades apply like a dream as well. There is no chunky fallout and they glide on like butter. There are 12 shades in this palette and it retails for $45. I wish they made single shades  so that some of these colors can be replaced if you were to hit pan instead of buying the entire palette..

I am sure Tarte will work towards something like this. But, their shadow quality has improved drastically and the performance is better too..

I would highly recommend this palette.. and it’s readily available at Tarte.com, Sephora or Ulta.
